AKC Name: Sir Bleu Merle Dust Buster

Dusty is a Blue Merle Pomeranian. If he wasn't born with the merle trait he would have been an ordinary black Pomeranian. The merle trait is not a color but a genetic trait. It affects the predominantly dark color hairs in the coat and lightens it.  The silver and bluish tint  you see in the photos above are the results of the merle gene on black hair.  Please refer to the Merle Gene Facts link on the left for more information.

Dusty is a fully registered Pomeranian with AKC (American Kennel Club). His AKC name is Sir Bleu Merle Dust Buster. Cari's Pomeranians does not own Dusty, but we do utilize him for Pomeranian stud services. He belongs to our grandmother, Jane Nunamaker.

Dusty has a very sweet and playful temperament. He absolutely loves children and playing with other animals. He also loves the water.  He weighs  6 lbs.  He is out of coat in the pictures above, but we will post updated photos once he is in full coat.

Dusty has Blue, Chocolate, Sable, Parti factored, Black, Red colors in his pedigree. His lines include Beau James, Pombreden, and Del Ray.  Dusty's 5 generation pedigree is posted below or you may click Dusty's AKC Pedigree.

Shiva x Dusty have been bred and are expecting Pomeranian puppies on 2/19/08.
